Hello,
My name is Ann Blanchard, R.N., Ed.Ph.D. I am
the owner and operator of
RELIABLE HOME HELP NURSE'S REGISTRY.
Reliable Home Help Nurses Registry is State of
California Licensed. I'd like to introduce you
to myself, my staff and the services Reliable
provides.
I graduated from Wyckoff Heights Hospital School
of Nursing in Brooklyn New York as a Licensed
Practical Nurse. The first 20 years of my career
was spent in Medical, Surgical, Psychiatric,
Emergency Room and Private Duty in the home. I
returned to nursing school at Palomar College in
1968 and earned my RN Degree in 1970. I
continued on to U.C. Riverside and there
received a Ryan teaching credential. From there
I went on to UCLA to receive a college
credential. The next 30 years I specialized in
Psychiatric Nursing, as well as Director of
Nursing at Acute Care Hospital, and Skilled
Nursing Facilities. I began teaching Geriatrics
at Mira Costa College in 1977. It was when
discharge coordinators at Tri-City Hospital
began calling me to assist the homebound in
their day-to-day living that I recognized the
need for affordable good patient care.

nurses registry, and treat our clients as we
would our own family. Reliable Home Help Nurses
Registry celebrated 25 years of service in
November 2002.

term care insurance for our clients and their
families. We are bonded and licensed with the
state of California. Reliable Home Help Registry
staff can be reached 24 hours, 7 days a week
including holidays.
Our Registry nurses and caregivers are CPR
certified, tested for TB and go thru extensive
background checks. Many of our nurses have been
working with us from the beginning. Reliable
Home Help Nurses Registry has LVN's, CNA's,
HHA's, and Caregivers. We can service from 1 to
24 hours. Reliable Nurses Registry has live-ins
and sleepovers. We assist with all phases of
patient care, including transportation to doctor
visits or personal errands. We take great pride
in matching the right nurse for our client. Many
of our new clients are referred by our past
clients, family members, and via word of mouth.

who needed a ride to the doctor, to shop run
errands or other business, or someone who needed
assistance with their daily living, bathing,
cooking for an hour or so or to live in. We know
the elderly need people among them who really
care and will treat them with respect and
dignity. We assist with Catheter and Ostomy
care, Physical Therapy, special diets,
transportation, shopping, available. We care for
the terminally ill and will stay with the
patient until he/she passes.
We offer respite for the family which enables
them to have a relaxing "time out", to run
errands, dine out, go on vacation or other
activities. We have over 100 Certified Nurse
Aides, Home Health Aides and Practical Nurses
who are available from one hour to 24 hours, 7
days a week, 365 days a year with no minimum.
They have been tested, screened, are C.P.R.
certified, have T.B. tests or chest x-rays,
finger printed and have a pictured I.D. and
Social Security numbers on file. These men and
women are ready to step in and care for your
loved one when needed. They can assist you in
planning your time away or step in immediately
in case of an emergency. We treat your family
just as if he/she were our family.
